Sacraments
of Initiation:
Infant
Baptism: Baptisms of children under the age of 7 are
celebrated throughout the year.
A Parent Preparation Session is required.
Please contact the DRE at 499-0883.
Children’s
Initiation (RCIC): Children 7 years and older
inquiring about Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation should
contact the DRE at 499-0883.
The RCIC Program runs each year from September
through Easter on Sunday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. in the
Hughes Meeting Room.
Adult
Initiation (RCIA): Adults inquiring about initiation
and Communion with the Catholic Church should contact the
DRE at 499-0883. The
RCIA Program runs each year from August through 4 weeks past
Easter Sunday. It
is held on Monday nights from 7:00 -8:30 p.m. in the Hughes
Meeting Room.
Sacrament of
Reconciliation: Saturday at 3:30 p.m. (until all are
heard)
Communal Celebrations are
announced during Lent and Advent.
Sacrament of
Marriage: Please call the parish office for initial
information. This may be done no later than six months prior
to the desired wedding date.
You must be an active member for the parish for one
year. Contact
our parish secretary at 499-0883.
Sacrament of
the Sick: Please
call the parish office if you or another parishioner is
seriously ill (whether in the hospital or at home), and wish
to be anointed. Eucharistic
Ministers are available to bring Holy Communion to the
permanently homebound or those temporarily recovering at
home.
Religious
Education for Children attending public schools in
grades 1 through 8 is arranged by contacting the DRE at
499-0883.
St.
Bartholomew is part of a regional Religious Education effort
with St. Martha’s, St. Barnabas and Ascension.
Evening Religious Education (ERE) is held on Tuesday
Evenings from September through April at St. Martha Church
2825 Klondike Lane from 7:00-8:15 p.m.
